configure ICS for Sygate Personal Firewall Pro

Can someone please help me out with Sygate Personal Firewall Pro? I would like to use that firewall software, but I can't seem to get it to work with my Internet Connection Sharing. Currently i'm a ICS Gateway and my sis's computer is the client. I can't seem to figure how/what options in the Sygate i can do to make it recognize my computer is a ICS gateway.

yeah I tried the Sygate Home Network software along with my Sygate firewall pro. But somehow the sygate firewall keep blocking my sister's computer and it won't let she access my network or the internet. Too bad the sygate home network doesn't have a firewall built in.

easiest way to configure Sygate Firewall, is to go into options. Then select network neighbourhood tab>select your NIC card being used on the LAN between you & your sister, & then just make sure to checkmark both "Allow..." settings for the Network Neighbourhood Settings.
This should allow communication between your machines now.
Otherwise post back & we'll see what else could be blocked (but these settings work fine for my machines).

I have tried that before, but it didn't seem to works. I guess i can try it again. One more question, do i have to be running Sygate Home Network to get the ICS to work?

I don't run ICS at all trueboyz =). Never liked how MSN handled LAN/internet settings. I use proxy from analog x (small & simple to use).

it's very simple. Just run it & set the browser on the other machines to go to a particular port. That's it.
Also helps if those PCs & the NIC card on your machine that is on the network have a set IP addy (don't let the LAN card detect an ip address automatically). That program has a tutorial (once installed) but most others will also. That's all there is to it. Run it when you want & that's all.

I decided to use Kerio Personal Firewall. It works fine for me. About analogx proxy, maybe i will try that later. What benefits does it have over ICS?
