clonecd problem

my liteon 24102b has suddenly slowed my system down when i use clonecd it still works but boggs down every thing even the mouse my sys is an amd athlon 1.3 ghz 512 mg ram my dvd writer doesn`t do this when you use clone with it any ideas thanks

Just curious: You mean that you use your DVD burner with Clone to burn CD's?
What other burtning programs do you have installed? Name all of them.

no just every now and then for a quick on the fly . i have hp DLA,record now max, fantom cd, clonecd,alchohol,daemon tools. i have 2 hd one with the liteon as primary slave one wiyh dvd writer as secondary slave never had a problem just a sudden thing i have made no what you could call any changes to my system i just tried the dvd burner to see if it was both drive problem just the liteon wich i love. dont know i am up for any ideas. danoman

Before burning disable DLA for the drive (rightclick the drive icon etc), eject and re-insert the blank.

i dont use the liteon with dla i use the dvdwriter it came with dla in box does this have to do with settings for the liteon its self like dma or whatever i did hear that clonecd doesn`t need aspi i do have 4.7 installed i tried force aspi to roll back this is the strangest thing
