Cool! I haven't looked at CloneCD in a while, but I love the idea that it will handle DVD's :D I tried to dupe an unprotected DVD with an old version once (4.2), that was dissapointing (but not totally unexpected). I am puzzled about the inability to copy protected DVD's? If the program is still a 1:1 copy program, why doesn't it make a duplicate, protection and all

I tried to use this program (5.0.0.0 beta) with my NEC 1300 to backup a DVD, and it seemed to nuke my drive! I haven't been able to use it since - now, each time i put in any disc whatsoever (cd or dvd, backup or original), the drive doesn't even know its there. Has anyone else tried this beta with an NEC?
