Hi guy's & Gal's. Right now Clonecd is on version 4019 with v4020 forcomin release I hear endin of next week.
Has anyone used dis v4019 yet? Since I don't copy game's or much protected stuff these day's I was just wounderin wot improvement's it has over 4016 ;)

Hey Ras, i have not yet discovered any significant difference in comparison to previous version, no change log is available also! The major outstanding difference is the size of the installer, as most of you have seen it's again bigger!!

I considered it as an offensive attitude and I don't want mods and users have hard feelings to me anymore ;) There is a change in my title as well...

REPORT UPDATE using this latest version of clone (if this is in wrong place could some one please move thanks !! )

I still cannot copy uk version of sims vacation with my plextor 24/10/40a firmware 1.03 also tried firmware 1.04 still no luck works fine with a cdrw not with a cdr !? strange !?

using a cdr i get this error every time same error ....

If you downgrade firmware to v1.02??? There are rumours that claim that v1.02 is better for many SD 2.xx copies. But I cannot check this right now as my Plex is now installed into my sister's PC. (I'll be there on 3rd of July to check how it does with this firm...)

i have this firmware will check later ! but i still aint holding out there are not may plex owners holding there hands up to be counted as yet to say they have had luck with 2.51 safedisk or later ! :confused:

okey here is the change log;

Here is the list of changes in this new release:
Fixed hang of computer at the end of DAO-RAW burning with several writers.
Fixed writing of unreadable CDs with WAITEC STORM24 in SAO-RAW+SUB mode.
Fixed problem of reading subchannel data in Pre-Gap with Lite-On drives.
Fixed problem of "Block Address out of range" message in Lead-Out.
Removed "Laser Power Calibration failed" message with SANYO drives.
Updated Turkish and Slovakian Languages.

I'll check de clonecd forum's if deah's (theres) ANY reports with other brand burner's.

update on this new version of clone re my last post here ....

tried downgrading firmware from 1.04 to 1.03 had same problem :(

tried downgrading firmware from 1.03 to 1.02 still got same problem :(

throws up same error as posted above every time used clony latest to make profiles no luck

used clone game settings still no luck

used clone pre made profiles found elsewhere here still same prob !!


bah humbug :( grrrrrrrrr come on olli pleeeeeease make it work for us lol :D

but seriously this is head banging stuff for us plexy users :mad:

Myst copy ??

I know this is not the same game but maybe the same protection
I have a plextor 8/2/20
I can use CloneCD to copy this to a CDR\RW but to just a strainght CD-R no luck
Did read on forum about quality of CD's
I used Imation CD-R 700MB\80 MIN ------FAILED
Sony 650 MB /74 MIN CD-RW--------------SUCCESS
bout to try with a TDK 650MB/74 MIn Muti speed 1x2x4x up to 16x in clonecd at 4x of course
Will let you know how It goes
