Clone CD 3.3.4.1 Help Needed!

I have been using Clone CD version 3.3.4.1 to copy my PSX games with no problems at all until recently that is! For some reason, now I keep getting an error message which reads "error writing to sector XXXXX" (I put x's but it actually puts a number). I did leave my computer on the other day and caught the kids playing around on it. So Im thinking that they may have done something. After looking for what the problem could be I noticed that the CD Tray part of Clone CD is no longer there. Nothing happens when I go to open it. Maybe it was deleted somehow? If so, would this be the cause of my suddenly burning a coaster every second game I try to burn? Oh by the way, I haven't changed media or anything like that so that can't be the problem. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kaz :)

well, it's easy to find out - uninstall clonecd and install it anew. if you still can't copy the psx games, then it has to do with protection. however, I doubt that there's a new protection scheme in recent psx titles. It's always the same - 2 protections - the sector not copyable by burners and the subchannels protection. if you were able to make copies of psx before, it should work now too.

Thanks for the reply. I did try reinstalling it like you suggested. One strange thing though is that when I reinstalled it, it automatically came up with the registration number etc on its own. I didn't have to physically put it in this time. It must keep some info on the computer or something even when it is uninstalled maybe? I tried burning again and it is still hit and miss. One thing I did omit in my original post though, is that I only seem to be having problems when copying a copy. I don't have the problem (as much anyway) when copying an original.
So maybe it could be the media. I am using Kodak CDR Ultima 80. Maybe they don't like being copied again. Can you suggest a better media for the PSX games?
Thanks,
Kaz.

Thanks,
Of course info would be left behind. I didn't even think of that. How stupid do I feel :) Oh well, Im only new at most of this computer stuff but Im learning quite alot from reading the posts on this site! I live in Australia and seem to have no problem finding the Kodak media here. As a matter of fact it is everywhere, and seems to be the most popular! I burnt the PSX games from the originals at 4x speed. I might try lowering it again and see how I go. My PS1 console is only very new. Only bought it two weeks ago so that shouldn't be the problem. At least I hope its not :)
