CenDyne DVD Writer $169.99 ?

Hello Folks,

Techbargains http://www.techbargains.com is stating in their “Upcoming Weekend Deals” section that OfficeMax will have a CenDyne DVD Writer for $169.99 after rebate this weekend.

I don’t know anymore then that but I believe this is something that folks looking for a DVD burner would be interested in checking out.

It is actually a Pioneer DVR-104 rebadged. I got one ($169.99)from OfficeMax the day after thanksgiving. It can burn 2X DVD-R; comes with Nero 5.5 full version, Sonic MyDVD, and WinDVD. It is a good deal. Get it if you can.

I discovered today that many OfficeMax stores are substituting Cendyne DVR-105 burners for the 104. This makes it an incredible buy. If you are interested, check around. At the one closest to me, they had about twenty of the 105s for the $169 price.

I bought the pioneer a04 and it cost me close to 3 hundred dollars.. its a dvd-r dvd-rw,bundled with( pioneer record now DX) (sonic my dvd) and (arc soft show biz)..... ive tried burning dvd's and i'm constantly told that i dont have enough room on my 4.7 dvd- rw gig disk, which is for a 2 hour movie... and most movies are over the 2 hours!! it wont let you record the dvd movie to two seperate disks either or allow overburning........what 2 do ?????

Im constantly overburning cds,but do not know about dvds(dont have one-yet)...My old ricoh overburned more then 60 cds--no probs yet....My new writer 40 speed overburning too---so chose visely couse mistakes could be expensive?????

Dax get DvdxCopy 1.3 should work very well with your a04. You must be running xp os. I'm using an a05 and it works great for both single disk and double disk movies.

most bought DVD's are DVD9 and don't fit directly on a DVD5 media;
