cdrwin and DVD2SVCD

Hi,
I tryed to burn with cdrwin 4.0a a cuesheet, that
has a cd size from 900 (800 MB), built by DVD2SVCD.

But when I load the cuesheet comes a message “error, invalid …”.
Is cdrwin not able to burn 800 MB or what is wrong.
My burner, Liteon 12102B has the newest firmware.

I am confussed (yep again!) with the comment ... from 900 (800mb) Is the BIN file 800mb long or 900?

CDRWin will burn a 800mb file made by DVD2SVCD to an 80 min CDR no problems. But I have only ever used ver 3.x and have a working serial number.

Is this the first time yourve tried to burn a DVD2SVCD cue/bin file or have you done many before. I updated the tutorial only yesterday and have suggested the use of VCDEasy for all MPG or CUE/BIN file burning from DVD2SVCD because of less problems.

@ ChickenMan
I burned some DVDs without any problems, by using cdrwin 4
and cdr 700 Mb (=80 min). Correct settings by DVD2SVCD for cdr
700Mb is CD size 800 .
My problem is, that I have some cdr 800 MB (= 90 min) and I tried to burn them with CD size 900. But cdrwin failed; also nero.
Are my settings wrong???

I have read your tutorial about vcdeasy and I will try it.

Okay I now understand, Nero should burn out the 900 meg file to the 90min CDR. However you MUST enable overburning in the Expert Features in Preferences.

Hi,
vcdeasy and nero have burned the 90 min. cue, which
I built with DVD2SVCD, but my DVD Player can´t play
the disk. He says that the fist cd is an audio cd and he can`t play it. The second cd is playable.
Cdrwin says that only one cue is correct and the other not.
First cue: FILE "CD_Image_File_CD1.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
FLAGS DCP
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
FLAGS DCP

The second cue: cdrwin says this one is correct
FILE "CD_Image_File_CD2.bin" BINARY

What is wrong ???

Those CUE files look okay to me, exactly the same as what I've been making and burning.

Your lack of playing the 90min CDR's just could be that your DVD Player cannot play them. Not all can. Do the CD's play okay in the PC with WinDVD as player ?

@Chickenman
No the cds don´t play okay in the pc. I am using Poer DVd. Where can I get Win DVD??
@pokopiko
i have used DVD2SVCD to built the cue file; when I built mpeg files with DVD2SVCD, can I turnaround that files with vcdeasy to cue files?? I have foung no vcdeasy instructions.

I updated my tutorial with regards to burning, now using VCDEasy and NOT Nero. Also, read the DVD to VCD using DVD2SVCD for futher details on how to use VCDEasy.

CUE/BIN files made by DVD2SVCD work absolutely perfect if you burn them to CD with VCDEasy, worth a try.
