CD-R/RW 20x10 Atapi

If you're using XP, make an "MS-DOS boot disk" (put a blank diskette in there, rightclick, choose "format" etc)...
It won't help much if all your partitions are NTFS... the boot diskette won't be able to access them. Somehow you must fit the drivers in the boot diskette, if feasible, in that case.
PS: just checked the card specs, and it mentions just a firewire (SB1394) external interface... The pic was not very helpful, indeed.

Yep well i figured that out. Ive updated the DVD ROM firmware, its now at 1.07, it was on 1.02 before. But still no better. What you mean the pic wasnt useful? The second link has the pics you want.

On the front view you can clearly see the firewire imput, its the gold thing, and at the back you can see the pins.

Hey Nite-Jogger,are you shure that DMA settings are applied correctly?
Change your port settings in your bios to ECP+EPP to be shure that DMA is correctly applied to your setup :D

Errr um how? LPT1 settings? DVD-ROM should be on DMA mode if available right? In bios it says its on DMA 5, and on secondary IDE channel Device 0 which im guessing is my DVD-ROM is on DMA if available, Ultra DMA mode 4, Device 1 which im guessing is my Burner is on PIO only mode. Now is that how its supposed to be, cause it is.

My, my... you have messed it up a bit dude... it's just a crappy audio extension, NOT an IDE port!
Open your Audigy manual at page 1-3 and read:
Warning: this is not an IDE interface. Do not connect it to your IDE devices
In fact I just wonder how at hell your system can recognize ATAPI devices connected there...

OMG YOU'RE RIGHT. Well the company who built my pc are COMPLETE RETARDS!!!! LMFAO. I don't think i have another IDE Plug anywhere, gee im gonna have to pull this apart to see. Hmmm wonder if my ASUS motherboard manual will tell me where it is. Well i'll have a hunt, great work, thanks very much for that ppl, but im still not out of this! HAHA. *reads motherboard manual* AHA its down where the other one is. WHY DIDNT THEY PUT IT THERE?!

ROFL, yes its confirmed, this pc company in New Zealand are retards. They take my pc for 3 weeks. Replace the last faulty hard drive, and DVD-ROM, and reconnect it wrong. It wouldve been like this for nearly 10 months! HAHA. I just thought my drives were faulty. Oh dear.

Hmmm, well i actually opened it up. And those cables were correct. I swear i saw a blue trimmed cable going into that Card. It wasnt Pink Trimmed like the hard drive one. Hmmm i dunno.

Still jumping. I'm trying to watch Star Wars Attack of the Clones, Blade 2, MIB 2. Blade 2 runs fine, untill Scene 14 where it starts jumping, and i can't view any other scenes after that. MIB the whole menu skips, and from Scene 11. Clones skips later on in the movie. They don't look scratchy. The drive does some weird spins sometimes.
