cd burning error: cant write compilation in TAO with this recorder

I am trying to burn a cd with nero 5578, but I keep on getting this error:

cant write compilation in TAO on this recorder

I have an hp cd-writer plus 9200 (internal scsi). Does this mean it is something not supported by this recorder?

reasons can be:
- if you will burn an audio cd, audio cd must burn as DAO
- if you tried to burn a data cd, your cd-writer doesn't support TAO, or you have a problem with your SCSI drivers (ASPI-Layer)
but i think all writers support TAO at least for 1 session

Thanks for helping out. I had posted on another forum and it was suggested over there to change TAO (track at once) to DAO (disk at once). It worked perfectly after this.

DAO ==> SAO ==> TAO

yes so is it, you should prefer DAO instead TAO;
an exception is, you will burn a multisession CD; then you should use SAO or TAO

sorry that help comes late, but i couldn't read & post daily in this forum

additional information:
DAO = Disc At Once
SAO = Session At Once
TAO = Track At Once
