To start with, if you set VDub audio to Direct Stream Copy, when you hit Save WAV (which should be called Save Audio), make sure the filename ends in MP3, not WAV. If you set Audio to Full Processing Mode, then and only then will it convert the audio to a real WAV file. Do either, just be aware of what your extracting/converting and name accordingly. A Direct Stream copy is substantially quicker, as there is no conversion occuring, just extracting.Jola said:I already tried that and failed. Let's see if I read you right.
Saved as wave in VDub.
Renamed to mp3 in explorer.
Converted to AC3 with ffMPEGGUI.
Authored with DVDLab.
When I tried to play it back in Power DVD, there was no audio.
Cheers

Does the MP3/WAV file play okay on your PC ? When you convert to AC3, does it also play (assuming you have some AC3 codec installed to allow it to play, I use a plugin for WinAmp)? If so then the problem lies with DVDLab, are you absolutely sure you actually dragged the AC3 file into the audio for the Movie?
