I am capturing analogue video (VHS) via a TV capture card with Virtualdub encoding with TMPGenc & Authoring with TMPG Author to DVD.
Should I expect to lose quality of picture along the way. Does the capture card determine the quality of capture or the software i.e. VirtualDub.. I appear to lose some quality in the capture to .AVI file.
Has anyone provided advice on Virtualdub settings for maximum quality??
