Can't FTP to Xbox

Hi,

I have both my pc and modded xbox (X-Ecuter) on static ip addresses.

On the Xbox in settings I can see both my Xbox IP and connection, (100Mb Full Duplex).

On my Pc I can ping to my Xbox.

However, I cannot FTP to my Xbox. I have tried CuteFTP Pro. I have tried both passive and port connect.

I boot from my xbox hd.

Login/pass = xbox/xbox but times out every time.


Does anyone have an idea?

I use flashfxp build 902 .
I set up my pc
IP 192.168.000.001
sub mask 255.255.255.0
CAREFULL use cable type crossover

Set up the box in 192.168.000.002

make a new conection in flash fxp (F4) named xbox.
and connect

hmm... yep ... make sure Evolution X is installed ...
--> setup a static IP for your Xbox and for your PC
--> I use also Flash FXP (any version will do) but also any other FTP Client should do the job as well ....
--> I use normal RJ45 cables with a 8port 10/100 Switch
