Burning BootCD with discjuggler

I know the bink.nu page exists, but this article here:

http://www.apcmag.com/apc/apcmag.nsf/1_alldocs/18EC42B634FE84FFCA256C86000529D6

say you can make a bootable cd by extracting the boot image from the original cd with isobuster & then make a bootcd with nero. I don't use nero. so how do i do it correctly on discjuggler?

I extracted the image.

soure: image
emulation: none
load segment of sectors (hex): 7c0
number of loaded sectors: 4

The cd burned fine, but i got this error when the comp tries to boot from it:

CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR

so what is the right way, beside the bink way?

Thanks.

Add ISO file version number = No

Hi p0rkus, nice to see you;

i don't nothing about discjuggler;
but i know, in Nero a strongly important thing is to set "Add ISO file version number = No";
if you don't change this to "No", the CDR isn't bootable;
maybe something similar exists in discjuggler; check also the discjuggler Reg entrys, if the option isn't existing in the menues;

Greetings from
Duracell

btw: Have you done the myMP3 4.0 Update r4.01? most problems are gone and Lame alt presets are now supported;

Check if the NTLDR file isn't corrupt......it's the windows 2000/Xp bootmanager,located @ the i386 folder of your cd......

This is from bart's page:

[Q] I've burned a bootable NT4/W2K/XP CDRom using Nero. When booting I can get the message "BOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR"

[A] You need to disable ISO9660 file versions, in Nero you need to do a registry setting:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ahead\Nero - Burning Rom\General\AddISOFileVersion
Set the value to 0 (zero).

how do i disable ISO9660 file version in disjuggler?? Perhaps poko can answer?? TIA

I did not make any changes in nero other than set the paramaters according to the instructions in the APC mag article.

Does ISO9660 file versions refer to file restrictions? in Nero selecting ISO level 2 and checking all the relax iso restrictions will produce that effect . I only know that following the instructions in the article I produced a perfect bootable w2k slipstreamed cd. Had it been more complex I donlt think i could have managed it :)

I am going to instal Diskjuggler and experiment with it to see if I have the same problem as p0rkus.
