Hi there, this is my first post and you probably get this question alot..

Just bought a new computer with 1 DVD Rom and 1 DVD R/W.
Does anyone know which software/firmware that can burn copied css protected dvd's to a blank dvd, without copying a image to the Hard drive but instantly burn it to the blank dvd?

cheers

Personally, I would not on-the-fly DVD burn unless you like coasters.
I agree. I always burn from the HD no coasters that way. What does it take 15 minutes more? God I remember when I first bought my A04 and thought what a wast of money cause it took like 12 - 15 hrs to rip and I said the hell with that!!!:(

Well I beg to differ burning on the fly for non protected DVD's is fine for me
Get a rare toaster now & then but that is down to other things not burning on the fly <>
mind u the PC I do it on is set just to do that.

What for? Just a fingerprint that went unnoticed while cleaning the source DVD, and your shiny coaster is well on its way home... harddisks are not too affected by fingerprints! :D

So you like coasters then... I don't. :p In fact, I have yet to burn a DVD coaster on my A06. DVD>Hard Drive>DVD-R. Over 100 pcs. burned now and not one beer coaster. Which reminds me... I'm thirsty... guess I will burn one "on the fly" for that coaster! :D

I've tried burning on the fly and saw a loss in quality from when I would rip to the HDD first. A little macroblocks here and there. Then I've seen better on the fly quality from my friends computer but, he's got the 3.2 P4 top of the line sony vaio and I've got a 1.6 P4 self build.
