burn dvds with cd-rw

Hi & Welcome to our forum! :cool:

there is absolutely no way to burn DVD media in a CD-RW drive;
what you can do is: rip the DVD content to HDD in a DVD-ROM, then transcode the movie to a lower bitrate and burn it as VCD, SVCD, DivX or XVid to CD-R;
here is our tutorial section about: http://www.dvdrbase.com/forumdisplay.php?f=153

or to CD-RW media, if that's what you mean :) .
But as said above, you need a DVD-drive to read the DVD to start with.

there is no "one click solution" and the process depends where you want to playback your burned CD:
for PC compatibility only: http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=1151

for standalone DVD player compatibility: http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=15298
