burn divx to dvd as divx files

Hi
I have baught a divx/avi dvd player(yamada6600)
i have also baught a nec2500dvd writer.

please can someone tell me how to burn multiple avi/divx files onto a dvd as avi/divx files?

If you have nero you can burn it under dvd-rom (UDF).

hi i have just tried that and it (nero when in dvd rom (udf)) says unexpected file format????

Did you try the dvd-rom (UDF/ISO) format?

this should also work in standard iso mode

i have backed up xvids in this way using nero altho i now use record now max

Might also want to check the files don't use any unsupported features before burning. Especially if they are XviD.

I also have an AVI playing DVD Player and either use Nero in UDF/ISO format to burn the AVI's to DVDR or Record Now MAx 4.60 . Both produce DVDR's that are playable on the PC or DVD Players.

Try them on a DVD RW first as advanced Xvids may not play on your player.

hi yes i have now burnt my discs usiing the iso/udf feature . these now work great.
