built in firewalls question (winxp or some antivirus)

I was wondering if the firewall included in the windows xp and in other software like the PC-Cillin 2002 antivirus have some util funtion or is better to desactive them and have only one firewall installed and active like the Kerio I used or another one

deactivate them (as built in firewall isn't very good). Good at some things, but not at blocking out some things & can even block your LAN network.
Enable / Disable Firewall
Open Control Panel and double click on Network Connections. In the new box that appears right click on the Connection and click on the Advanced tab. Check or uncheck the box according to your desire.

Then just run kerio or firewall of choice & a good anti-virus program. Suggest you look in our computer security section (under off topics)
