BSOD's argh...

Getting bsod's from two computers that I installed the wireless cards in.They are totally random.

They are STOP faults triggered by A3AB sys. IRQ less than, or equal to messages.

I've tried different slots with same results.I've found an IRQ sharing between USB host controller & the D-Link card.

System shows no IRQ conflicts/problem hardware??

Anyway to force an IRQ for these cards??Using XP. Thanks!

this is a problem with the drivers woody checkin round google as you do it recommends using the ATHEROS 3.3x drivers and not the latest ones

theres a few variants here

uninstall the ones you have should be under add remove programs apparently !?

then install 3.3x drivers

the alternative is to uninstall the drivers you have and install using the SETUP exe that came with the cards

One system is using drivers that shipped with the card.Second is using latest drivers link provide by Master in my wireless thread.Both have problems.

no way for XP installations in ACPI or APIC mode, only possible for "Standard PC";

you CAN force to remap if you mess with ACPI it but its NOT recommended as it can cause major problems

Thanks guys!Yeah read that this is a common problem.It seems the cards end up sharing IRQ's no matter which PCI slot you use.
