Hi all :)
What would you say was the best prog for burning (only bin) files.
and............can you burn bin\cue files to rewritable dvds ?

1. cue/bin -- Instant Copy (can handle multisession disks, illegal TOC's etc).
2. bin without a .cue: Discjuggler
3. Audio cue/something images: Burrrn!
4. cue/bin is not an option for DVD's, unless the .bin is an ISO in disguise (mode1/2048 sectorsize). Actually the old Instant CD/DVD 6.X WAS making cue/bin images of DVD disks (it was the standard image format before .pdi was introduced), but using a nonstandard command set, which no other program should be able to interprete.

Ive suggested ALCOHOL 120% 1.4.7.1005

Its the one ive got brilliant Pieace of program..
Alcohol cannot burn multisession bin/cue images, and audio cue based images (they are cue/wav, cue/mp3 etc- mainly produced by EAC). It will also burn or not burn cue/bin images with an illegal TOC- some luck is needed here.
I use Αlcohol all the time, I consider it a must for any serious burner, but Instant Copy is ages better for cue/bin burning...
If you have a copy of Instant CD/DVD 6.22 it is still a gem of a program- burner upgrade is simply made by the surrent Pinnacle upgrades. Solid, bugfree, light on resources. But it shows its age at two points: The new Instant Write (packet writer) is much better, and it's Instant Copy module does not have the DVD shrinking/manipulating options that have made it so popular nowadays...

Do you know of any app that will convert a .bin to an ISO in disguise ?
Pretty please :)

Ive always used ULTRA ISO 6.5 or WINISO 5.3

I recommend WINISO 5.3 to convert *.BIN 2 *.ISO and vice versa

For ULTRA ISO 6.5 THAT DOES THE LOT EVEN *.CCD *.NRG *.CDI ETC
Also opens DVD ISO images....

You can also add files to them save the image file and then burn to CD..

Regards

None of course! :D
If ISO was that flexible, .bin or any other native format would NEVER exist. They were invented due to the native ISO limitations (just one data track, no video and audio files, directory depth and filename limitations, no subchannel data). You can use anything you mighty like, just don't be surprised if you lose data when converting...
