zonealarm pro,black ice and inoculate it work great for me, i have never been virused yet and they dont seam to hog resources

F-Secure is very good but it uses a lot of ressources and has no native module to filter your pop3.
NAV 2002 works fine for detection and it got the 100% many times with Virus Bulletin.
Panda? I will not recommend it.
Kaspersky is also very good but the new version uses also a lot of ressources. Version 4 is too slow and I do not trust anymore their pop3 barrier.
McAfee. That's what we got at work. But I never like it. Too much marketing. And it you check Virus Bulletin there are far to be N1.
In summary I use NAV 2002 on my prod. machine and Kaspersky on my test machine (no email installed).
