Backup Audio CD

Hi guys!

Whats the best way to backup audio cds? Some without copy protection.

I was using Exact Audio Copy (http://www.exactaudiocopy.de/) because of the great audio rip capabilities, but I'm not sure of the efficiency of its copy feature...

What do you think of?

The one you use currently... no serious opposition (you could also consider CDex, but it's worse).
EAC is also perfect for copying protected audio CD's, if your hardware is compliant. EAC is not perfect for burning audio compilations from HD files though (.wav, .mp3 or any compressed format- it still needs manual cuesheet eiting which is not everybody's piece of cake), for that job Burnatonce simply has no rival, and it's also completely free to use. Feurio! has a terific audio burner too, but IMHO not as good as Burnatonce, which is the audio purist's paradise.

but for sure, you need an audio protection compatible reading device like Plextor, RICOH or Yamaha CDRW drives;

Not all of them can do it,bud......the 52X series are best rated for audioprotections...

(Lite-on added the feature with the latest firmware)
