backup a xp cd

I cant backup a xp p cd. with clone4016
it is reported "hardware error, no additional senge imformation"
could some tell me how to make a copy of xp cd.

What kind of burner do you have

Did you burn a disk seccessfully before. if not do you have two CDs on the same ribbon if so are the jumpers set right ie: Master and Slave if you do and still can't burn then do as pokopiko suggested.
Try CD Mate, Nero, BlindWrite,

it was quite good. almost any cd I can copy it.
and I do not change the ide seting.
