i have been a dyed-in-the-wool win2k fanatic since the day it went rtm. it's fast, stable, and it looks very professional. i couldn't stand the look of xp when i first encountered it. i installed it as a dual-boot at home because since i teach operating systems i have to learn it. i must admit that after i have learned a bit about xp and how to tweak it to get rid of the 'features' that i can't stand i have been using it at home almost exclusively for the past few months. i'm seriously considering installing it on my workstation at work now.
i tend to be wary of new things, especially operating systems. and i resist change with a passion. new things win out in the end though or else i'd still be running dos 3.3 on an ibm ps2.
oh yeah, it's all woody's fault.

after i derided him for ages about win98 he moved past win2k right to xp. i had to keep up.
