I want to use DVD to make larger compilation disc of full quality wav files. Does anyone out there know how to do this?

To use with a PC, you could just write everything as DATA, and maybe throw a playlist in as well for your favourite player - and an install or run from CD (DVD) of a suitable player as well?

If you want it to play on a standalone, that's one for the experts - an Audio-only DVD would be most compatible.

What I want is an audio DVD with regular CD music that will play on a regular home component DVD player. I know a DVD player will play cds and dvds, as well as mp3 from either disc type. It should be able to play regular 16 bit pcm from a DVD, but so far I can not figure out how to burn it to a dvd except as DATA, but the DVD player won't play it that way. I use Nero 6 and it seems to have no options to put any music other than wma/mp3 on a DVD.

Thanks, I think those other threads will be helpfull at least for some experimenting. Doesn't look like there is a way right now to do exactly what I want, but hopefully some trial and error will make something work.

This is a cool forum, by the way. I think I will probably be spending a lot of time here.
Thanks.
