any other progs that will burn .bins??

i use CDR WIN all the time to burn .bins and have no probs, but atfer getting a new laptop i've found that the CDRW drive isn't supported it only picks this up as a DVD drive. (nero picks the drive up fine).

Just wondered if you ppl could help in giving me some info as to what porgrams would be best for burning .bins other than CDR WIN.

Thanks alot for all your help

nero can do this perfectly and of course fireburner ... they usually support more burners too ...

Are you considering a BIN on it's own (which needs more careful treatment) or a BIN/CUE combo (where the CUE describes the structure of the BIN)

h**p://users.forthnet.gr/ath/axatis/XProject/XDuplicator/index.htm
Frontend for CDRDAO - can burn CUE/BIN, but looks like it only rips to its own BIN/TOC format

bin/cue

I'm referring to BIN/CUE Blindwrite seeks TOC/CUE just point it to the directory, or you can write your own CUE file .
ie: FILE "XXXXXX" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
I've found that Blindwrite is easier to use then it appears.

You will need a CUE file editor, attached, which I borrowed from bode

so i can't import .bin into nero......didn't know that ill give it ago cheers
On my system Nero is the most reliable BIN/CUE burning program. To burn .BIN file you will need to tell it to look for *.BIN because by fefault is will look for *.NRG, *.ISO, and *.CUE file (talking about the current latest version here). What you need to do is selecting

From main program select "FILE" | "Burn Image" then tell it where you keep the ISO, then select the ISO you want to burn then "WRITE" to start.

*If* you want to burn .BIN file *without* .CUE file then you will need to tell Nero to look and load *.BIN file, then you will have to manually enter the "MODE" and "BLOCK SIZE" for it to work.

I forgot BurnatOnce - actually I remembered it only supports Win2k/XP, but that seems to have changed....

Q. burnatonce will not load under Win9x
A. Win9x is not officially supported but this problem has been fixed. Please download the latest version.
