Any bonus codes or DVD Fixes for TOCA/DTM RACE DRIVER 2/V8 SUPERCARS 2?

I just purchased the latest Codemasters car racing game, V8 SuperCars 2 (that is our local name, it is also sold as TOCA Race Driver 2 or DTM Race Driver 2 depending upon where you live) and I have had no luck finding BONUS codes for it!

Games are expensive over here (usually $100 aussie dollars which is like US$200) so having to sign up and pay more for some bonus codes is out of the question. For the previous release of this game there was some kind of KeyGen that depending upon your particular code would generate appropriate bonus codes. If anyone knows a solution please post. I have tried the usual places (gamecopyworld, megagames, cheatsites, etc) BUT with no luck. :mad:

Also, this is the first ever game that I have purchased that comes on DVD-Rom rather than the usual CD's. I would like to be able to play without always having to scrounge around on my desk looking for the original DVD, whenever I want to play. But how in hell do you back up a copy protected DVD-Rom game when the usual applications like CloneCD and Alcohol 120% are only geared towards backing up CD's?

According to ClonyXXL v2.0.1.5 is states no known protection. According to other websites and when running Protection_ID, it says it has the latest version of Starforce. There is no cracked EXE files anywhere that I can see anywhere. Anyone seen a fix for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :confused: :( :eek:

Here a list of cheats which may be handy..

V8 Supercars: Race Drivers Playstation 2 Cheats
Get All Cars:
Go to Options then Bonus Codes.Enter- XKIMCF

Get All Tracks:
Go to Options then Bonus Codes.Enter- TMYTKO

Realistic Damage:
Go to Options then Bonus Codes.Enter- "Damage"

Simulation handling:
Go to Bonus Codes in the Options menu then input "SIM"

To get a blow-off valve:
Type in markskaife at the main screen

PC:
All Cars
Enter XKIMCF as a code at the bonus screen

All Tracks
Enter QTRIKX or TMYTKO

Pro race driver tracks
Enter LQJFFA

No damage
Enter IHHBIV or OATRYU

Alternate car handling
Enter VIBAKH

Thanks for your help BUT...

1. The game is not even available for PlayStation 2, as Codemasters has made some exclusive console deal with the crapola X-POS.

2. So these are codes for the older game (TOCA RACE DRIVER) and do not work with this latest release (TOCA RACE DRIVER 2).

3. I am still looking but so far.....NO LUCK! :mad:

hi there i am a newbie to this site i was wondering if any one as made a copy of toca race driver 2 and if so can they tell me what programs to use i have clone cd alchol 120% clone dvd

Did you take a look @ gamecopyworld they say it has CD Check for a protection and they have No-CD exe for the game. :)

There has not been any cracks that I have seen anywhere, especially on GAMECOPYWORLD. Again you are looking at TOCA 2 or some older game and not this new Codemaster racing game, TOCA RACE DRIVER 2 (also known as V8 Supercars 2 here in OzstraliYAH or Kiwiland or DTM Race Driver 2 in Germany, etc).

Anyway I did eventually find a BONUS code generator that works with this awesome racer, so I didn't I have to waste more time and money phoning some lameass rip off service. I now have access to all tracks and cars plus other KEWL features like NITRO mode, front wheel drive, access to all the CRAPOLA videos, etc.

I still have not found a NO CD fix. I know it exists because I have seen a RIPPED version of the game floating around (it's a 2GB DVD rather than the full 4GB game). It could be full featured as I notice that the original game does have a large BOGUS file on the ROOT directory called "padding.dat" which is 829,423,616 bytes.

They could have been a bit more sneaky and called it tracks.dat or cars.dat!!!

Anyway if someone has that RIPPED version I would love to get hold of your RD2.EXE file, which is the main executable file that starts the game. I will gladly tell you how to get the BONUS codes for it! :rolleyes:

Well my dreamland finds this and I don't have the game but this does look like some sort of race car game to me. :confused: Let me know if this is the game or not? :)

Nah that is the really old second generation of the TOCA series. It is like comparing QUAKE to FarCry or UT2K4! :p

Codemasters have been releasing car racing games for years from the good old games like MicroMachines around 10 years ago to now.

A brief history of the TOCA car racing series, goes something like this (it's not 100% accurate but close):

1997 TOCA Touring Cars (PC & PS)
1999 TOCA 2 Touring Cars (PC & PS)
2002 TOCA Race Driver (PC & PS2)
as of 4-6 weeks ago (depending upon where you live)
2004 TOCA Race Driver 2 (PC & XBOX...maybe one day PS2?!?!?)

Like I said before, I have a BONUS Code Generator!!!

So copying and pasting a bunch of bonus codes is really useless because the bonus codes ONLY WORK....if and only if, you have the right access code.

There are 9999 different access codes so the odds of having one of those, that you just pasting above in this post is like one chance in a thousand or worse. I cbf doing the maths! :D

Anyway the BONUS Code Generator works great because it works regardless of whatever access code you have. It only works on the PC version of the game...so if you want codes for the SHIITBOX oops...XBox version of the game, I can't help! ;)

Like I said before.....I am really only looking for a game EXE crack, so the game will no longer demand that the original DVD game is in the drive.

GameCopyWorld and the usual places still has no solutions. :mad:
