Alcohol 120% Virtual Drive

Everytime that I install Alcohol 120% my other burnware no longer display my burner. The only thing available is the Image Recorder. As soon as I uninstall Alcohol then everything returns to normal. Someone suggested that the virtual drive in Alcohol is the cause of this problem and I should disable it.
Can Alcohol 120% be installed without the virtual drive?
If not, then how do you disable the virtual drive?

What sort of burner u have and what version do u use ?

The problem persists with all versions on Alchohol 120% that I have tried. Right now I don't have it installed because of the issue but my last encounter was with v1.4.3.518. The hardware is a converted Lite-On LTR-52246S.

Oddly enough the problem does not exist with this version. Problem solved.
