I don't like the 4.7x versions, first they seemed to work ok, but then the hell started - pc often crashed, when programmes tried to use the aspi drivers, so I went back to version 4.6, they are more stable, even if crashes still occur randomly. anyway, do you know that aspi drivers are actually needed only by very VERY few programmes? I have 3: cdr identifier, clony and Scout - and actually only clony is really needed.
all other programmes - winoncd, clonecd, blindread etc - don't need aspi or rather use drivers of their own. even audiograbber doesn't need it - it can use win2k/winxp method of accessing the drives. so forget about the aspi drivers, they just make life more difficult
