Ad-aware 5.83 faulty scan engine?

I scanned my PC with the last version of the software.
reffile.awr updated, also (coming directly with v5.83)

Well, it found that
CSCORE.DLL
would belong to CometCursor system.

IMHO, that's nonsense! CSCORE.DLL is the CleanSweep Core of Norton SystemWorks!

Has any of you had the same result?
Is AAW 5.83 a buggy version, or what?

I attach an explaining image.

I do not have CleanSweep installed, so I do not get such a error message ...
I think that is a bug, yes ...
Mail the support mail from lavasoft, that is the best idea ...

I went to Lavasoft's support board and read some threads...
Well, yes, it seems to be a bug of 5.83 version.

Read here:
_http://www.lavasoft.nu/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?s=3d0dc57010aaffff;act=ST;f=10;t=296

And add cscore.dll to the ignore-list of aaw, hoping the next reffile.awr will fix the bug.

Tnx for that.

I scanned with it earlier and it told me that the Cute FTP ".exe" was a porn dialer!?!?!?!

A bug for sure me thinks. ;)

There is always a risk apps like AdAware make false alarms. The more accurate it try to be the higher risk for this false alarms. Sounds strange but the truth. I have two apps I know are clean but still claimed to be spyware by AdAware. You just have to add it to ignorelist.

Got a question, when you add something to the ignore list, does it treat all files with that name as ignored or only that specific file in that specific location?

(posted by me :D ) And add cscore.dll to the ignore-list of aaw, hoping the next reffile.awr will fix the bug
Just to point out that the new reffile.awr, dated June 23th, didn't solve anything: same error in scanning. :(

Can´t say for sure. The files I have added to ignore are unique for these programs and therefore I have never thought about duplicates.

Yeah, I know but I wonder what if something that had the same name was actually spyware and outside the directory where the good one you ignored is at.

I had no problem whit Ad-aware 5.83, it doesn't detect any dll or exe file, only cookies, perhaps just a coincidence becouse I've not installed the software you mentioned.
