Ad-Aware 5.7 Plus

Good job with this software.I've removed a lot of garbage from my computer but I still have one that plays on my nerv. How I got it honestly I don't know.My Internet Explorer 6 Win XP home page is changing every time I reboot my computer to w*w.newtopsites.com and whatever I try is comming back.Any advice in this matter is more than welcome.Thanx in advance.

IE home page

Done all this but no luck.Sometimes before shut down I get a message about my virtual memory is low and even at 700 MB is low.The home page is changing only after reboot.

I think I found something. If I scan my computer with this Ad-Aware is going to find lop.com and after I remove it at second scan is not going to find it.If I reboot and scan again the only file found is lop.com.I'm going to check my roots for this and kill it.

I have had problems with LOP.COM. Went to a crack site and had a lot of pop-ups. When I signed offline I had this LOP icon on my desktop plus other icons for Adult, Gambling, etc. Did a file search and was able to eliminate most of the files but still got LOP.COM in MSIE as the Homepage went to Tools, internet options and changed homepage but when I rebooted I got LOP.COM as homepage.

In addition I now get the following error message:

"This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down."

Didn't have this error message before and I am not sure if it is a result of the spyware programs.
On another forum I got the site link that is supposed to let you download a program from LOP to uninstall LOP.COM (offline). Just got this link and haven't tried it yet. Saw your message on this forum and thought I would pass it on to you hope it works. If anyone has any info on my error message above I would appreciate any help or info. --

Lop.com

As above states lop supplies uninstal programs.... your other problem could be a tojan that is reseting your homepage everytime you reboot. I had this... Norton AV found it.....

Re: Lop.com

Thank you for your response regarding my error message. I have been using Trojan Remover and McAFEE Virus Scan and they haven't detected any "Trojan". But will find copy of Norton AV and try it. I really appreciate your response and hope this works.
I used the LOP Uninstall Program and that seems to have taken care of that problem.
Again thanks a lot for your help.

The trojan...

Once again thanks for your help. I meant to ask if you rembered the Trojan name, this will help.
