ACE Mega Codecs Pack probs

Hi!
I've just installed ACE Mega Codecs Pack 4.07 on a friend's notebook with plain WinXP on it before.

Now I got the following problem:
Every divx-file with either mp3 or AC3 sound plays asynchronous (sound always a lot ahead after few seconds). The movies are fine on my desktop PC (I'm not using ACE codecs pack).
SVCDs and VCDs are o.k.

In the readme file of the codecs pack (and the .ini) I found a reference for an uninstall key in the registry, but there's no possibility to uninstall the codecs pack via 'Software' menu.
Maybe the uninstall only works with Windows9x.

I think that only one component of this codecs pack is responsible for the asynchronous playback. Perhaps I could find it manually and deinstall or fix it.

Any suggestions?

Codec packs should not be applied in a full package.
Usually some codecs clash with each other and good packs tell u which ones these are.
If it is a codec and not a filter u can remove them through control panel and multimedia/devices.

Probably it's a filter...

(You can't choose anything during installation of this pack - sorry)

Really need help. I'm sure other people have tried this pack, too.
