4 speed problem

Hi anyone noticed after applying the gradius 2x4x12rip that they are unable to burn 4 speed media on their pioneer 105..
I and 1 or 2 friends have, if u use recordnow max it sometimes tells you you are burning at 4 but if you check the time to burn it is longer than the 14 minites it should take usually around the 22 min mark which with the verification time of 10 min is 30 total which of course is 2 speed....over to you..

@ rugrat,

Suggest visiting The FirmWare Page (http://forum.firmware-flash.com) Forum/DVD-R/RAM/+RW.

NIL, Graduis, and Zaitec2 who developed the Pioneer DVR-105 v1.30 RPC-1+2xDVD-R+12xRip Firmware frequent that forum. As a matter of fact Graduis is one of the Forum’s Moderators. There is active discussion about the Pioneer DVR-105 Firmware and you will be able acquire the latest information.

In one of the threads at The FirmWare Page Forum/DVD-R/RAM/+RW a member who had RecordNow Max v4.5 installed prior to flashing the Pioneer DVR-105 v1.30 RPC-1+2xDVD-R+12xRip Firmware was experience 4 speed burning problems. This member reported that un-installing and re-installing RecordNow Max v4.5 after flashing the Pioneer DVR-105 corrected the 4 speed burning problems.

I also think not many peeps are having the problem yet!!as they are using 1x media to get the double burn speed ..going back to your original answer we have tried re-installing said burning proggys but no joy...tell me coaster have u tried it on the fly in recordnow max with 2x media and did it only take 15 min?

@ rugrat,

I have a Pioneer DVR-105 (CenDyne) but due to the 1x Ritek GO3 media issues prior to release of v1.30 RPC-1+2xDVD-R+12xRip Firmware I purchased a Sony DRU-500AX. Since purchasing my Sony DRU-500AX I have removed my Pioneer DVR-105 from service and have not installed any of the newer hacked Pioneer Firmware. I am sorry but I cannot provide any personal information concerning the Pioneer DVR-105 and newer hacked firmware.

I have a dedicated computer with minimal software and/or peripherals installed to elevate compatibility issues that I use for all my DVD purposes. I use Padus DiskJiuggler v4.10.1070/SmartRipper v2.41/DVD2one v1.1.3 to “Backup” my DVD Movies with the Sony DRU-500AX (2c Firmware). I have not experienced any problems burning DVD±R media with the Sony DRU-500AX in my dedicated DVD computer.

@Rugrat..i haven't tried this hack either(have a dedicated reader). There is however,a long thread at the Firmware page. You might want to post in that thread.Don't total the verification into the write process(think you already know this). You also need to add leadin, and lead out to the equation.15 minutes sounds about right.;)
