2 questions about web sites

when i browse the net, some sites have music on a certain page, and sometimes, i can find the control to pause or stop it, but a lotof them don't have any links to stop the darn music and it gets real annoying; is there a trick ? help!!!

also, some web pages use flash (i think) which make it impossible to copy text from there; is there a way around it?

thanks for any advice

If you are using Internet Exploder, just browse to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced Options->Multimedia and uncheck any content that annoys you, such as play sounds. If those are not the exact names of the options in IE don't be mad at me since my Win2K is in spanish.:p

eh what pardon what was that "poacher" ...oh wait mine are off most of the time lol :) i forget to turn the damn thangs on most of the time lol :)

When u view a web page that has flash on it, it is downloaded the same way as a normal web page so it is stored in your temp internet folder, all you have to do is wait for all the flash to load then simply go to your temp internet folder and copy it out of there and store it in another folder on your hard drive, once you have it in a seperate folder you can edit it with any number of flash editors out there, i use swf decompiler as it rips all the flash into its component parts, i think swish is quite easy to use also.
