Seriously... probably a software bug.Time a comparable size burn with another software to see if it's a true 21X.If it is correct, just use Clone Cd for everything!
it may happen zat the burner may top its upmost write speed.with my old hp9100c ,where 8x is max,it sometimes burned up to 10x with reading on clone cd.zats y some ppl say zat u can overclock ur burner
