I've followed CM's guide to converting a Divx to DVD but near the final hurdle using TMPGenc Author I got 2 error messages. First was "The capacity of the DVD was exceeded" and the second "The combined bitrate of the clip exceeds the upper limit for a standard DVD" Can anybody shed any light?

Im buying a new PC tomorrow and I want to back up my files to disc. Is there any way I can back up to DVD-R instead of using CD-R as last time I backed my files up it took loads of CD-R's?

I'm a newbie and for the first time today I've tried to burn a Divx file onto a CD-R as a VCD using Nero 6 but after 6 hours encoding it (or something like that!) it said it wouldn't fit on the disc. My CD-R's are 700mb/80mins in size but the file as it stands on my PC is 699mb but 2 hours long...
