The story so far:-
I've got 2 paid for program suites - Studio & Easy Media - neither of which did what I wanted - to quickly convert an AVI file into a DVD. I wasn't asking too much was I?
To begin with I could put up with them, I was only working on 40 plus minutes of TV program, then I tried a full sized feature film file. Nightmare!
So I Googled and found The FilmMachine - my salvation! Processed the TV files quickly and the final discs were perfect. So I progressed to the film. Two weeks later & I'm still head-butting the keyboard.
For the umpteenth time I hit the search engine and came across AVI-Mux GUI. I'd made a rough guess at the miss-matched vision & sound on the film of 2 seconds (not put-up-withable). AVI-Mux came up with over 2 seconds, split, moved and re-attached, saved the file as a fixed version and hey-presto!
:)
