problem at the end?!?!?!

I am recording dvd with dvddecrypter and then dvd shrink. They both will show no errors or problems during their processes but when i play the movie, it will start skipping towards the end. Is there maybe something wrong with the programs or my dvd-r drive? Or is it just maybe too big of a program for the discs? they are dvd+r 4.7gb discs. please help if you can.

Could be your media. Are you using cheap media?
Try burning at a slower speed.
Try shrinking the file a little more.

Get a copy of cdspeed(if your drive supports error scanning) and do a disc quality scan(@8x) if its your media you will see the pie errors increase(a lot) at the end of the disc.
If thats the case (as pc-guy said) burn at lower speed and scan again to see if theres any improvement.
Along with pc-guys suggestions you can also upgrade the firmware of the drive (if the write strategies are improved for the media in q) or get another media brand thats well supported by the firmware
