Try deletin all the files in the temp folder that it mentions:)

It might be findin the other version there & that might stall it:)

Hmmm as far as i know that file shouldn't be there unless it was left over from a failed install

If i remember right it should be in the ZoneLabs folder in Windows\System or in the Zonealarm folder in Program files:confused:

Have U tried unistallin the version U have the now, then reinstallin the version 4?

If you can't uninstall, you may have to find the registry entries for Zonelabs, delete the keys, then reboot and delete the program folder\Zonelabs folder and then reinstall...

i tried everything mentioned still the same error comes up when i try to install the new version 4 iv deletedevery mention of it everywhere
any other ideas anyone please also what does (WSEDbgprint). mean

Uninstalling and cleaning the usual entries wont do as the string is not a part of the regular zonealarm values:)
Try searching your registry for the exact phrase (c:\docume~1\djlewis\LOCALS~1\TEMP\VSUTIL.DLL) and delete the parts referring to zonealarm. Be very alert though as it most likely contains paths to more soft than just zonealarm.
Make sure to keep the structure of the string and just delete the EXACT values your looking for.
.
You can find more info on zonealarm uninstall(wich dlls and reg entries too look for etc)here
