Hello again, everyone. I have another question: Does anyone have a link for software called ZipMagic? The company that makes it is OnTrack. I have searched quite extensively, and I have not come up with anything, let alone a serial number, or key generator. If anyone could offer assistance, I would greatly appreciate it. I am wondering what you shall use this package for , when you got winzip 8.1 , winrar 3 or winace. These programs are small, fast, and cover more or less the functions in ZipMagic. Like spanning, zip or rar repair.

For a start it works very well wit Netscape & IE, works very well within email apps. Yes not to 4get it also good for openin other zip extension. Maybe you need to config zipmagic.
zipmagic 2000 don't use it any more. ZM4 retail I find very good value for wot it is!

I used ZIPMagic "two or three years" ago (Sorry, I don't remember the exact time) and it didn't work with PC-cillin @ that time (I think PC-cillin get confused about is it a file or a folder), when you open the ZIP file (or folder after ZIPMagic installed), system hang...
(I remembered the solution is to set ZIPMagic to let the system treat the ZIP file as FILE. But if ZIP file is file, why don't I use WinZIP... )
Of course it has solved the problem now but I really can't find a good reason to install it now... One ZIPMagic's size can fill twice WinZIP (or PicoZIP)+WinRAR+WinACE+...

1. PC-cillin is an antivirus which is much popular in ASIA.
2. Ontrack and other programs still encounter some problems in dealing with Easten Language, which used 2 bytes in char., not one. So, most of you won't encounter this problem but this kind of problem is our pain...
eg. Like old version of WinAMP, we had to use a "patched" version to deal with...
