Well at my work the PCs are low on performance.
I was using systemworks but it was slowing 'em even more.
For antivirus I'm using now NOD32 cause it's low on resources and it's faster than norton antivirus.
Now I'm looking for a disk defragmenter program better than windows.
Also any freeware internet browser low on resources (lower tha mozilla)?
Anyone?

y not start by discarding system works?zen use a registry cleaner & clean all the trash zat may be slowing u down eg registry first aid,cleaner....
disk defragmentor there's O&O defragmentor if i remember well....but imo the one zat windoz supplies is more or less ok (win2k...)
freeware browsers,err i have only firebird & opera in my head,mmm try myIE (dunno about it )
wat config r ur pcs ?pentium 2 or 3 ?

One of the Firebird optimized builds (check the Firebird Builds forum at www.mozillazine.org ) migh be lower load than the Mozilla monolith - thats if the optimized bulds are for a low enough CPU - normally the lowest build is Pentium Pro or better (Also P-II, Celeron, Athlon, Duron) - may not be suitable for anything lower though.

Anti Virus:The best free a/v appli in the world in my opinion:Avast! Personal
Disk Defragger:The fastest: VoptXP (although O&O is good,the latest versions are a little bloated for my liking..)
Norton Systemworks slowing your system down?I never use anything by Norton these days.Norton Utilities was good years ago..now?..Bloatware..Get Rid...Use the quite excellent (and much lower on system resources)alternative :TuneUp Utilities 2003 Nice!...

-Format your HD"s
-Re-install OS and all your office applications
That"s the only way to go and it works for me in my job with PII+WinNT4 machines.

NOD32 should be fine.
O@O defrag v.4 too, as well as Perfect Disk.
When I was working at a corporation I was given a Celeron 300 -the old one, without internal cache- / 32 MB RAM with a horrible SiS 2MB 3D-decelerator graphics card, noname chinese mobo and a massive 1.2 GB harddisk (typical junky Plato workstation, by the Pouliadis and Associates crooks).
Formatted, installed Mandrake with the necessary goodies (Samba, OpenOffice, Mozilla, Gaim...), a few MS true type fonts and I was having fun with the other poor colleagues who were crawling, being infected all the time and watching spectacular win98 BSODS all the time... Not all perfect, as by that time OpenOffice was buggy and with limited support for MS Office documents- today the support is just perfect.
