Yamaha crw3200sx and directcd problem

I have a problem with my yamaha crw3200sx and directcd, I use Windows Xp Sp1, when I install Easy Cd Creator after reboot windows freeze every one minute, the same problem with windows me.

Anyone can help me?

P.S.: Sorry for my english I'm italian.

Greetings Mate... I wouldn't use any of the current programs you are using since they have done nothing but trouble since they came out. At the same time, I would absolutely never use them together.

I would suggest setting a restore point in windows, uninstall Direct CD and Easy Cd creator and use other software such as a combination of NERO (Free download and try) and then a combination of Burn at once or CDRwin. That is really all you need if you are going for Ease of use.

Cheers...

OK.. If you still wish to use those programs I think your problem is the Direct CD software and the Built in Windows XP burning software (Which I think is Direct CD) is working against each other. Did you install Direct CD or are you talking about the burning function inside windows XP?

Good Luck!

Here's a couple of things to try (In case you haven't already)

1. Go to the roxio website and get the latest driver update for Easy cd creator- v5.3.2.34b as of 20th Jan 2003

also

2. What ASPI version are you running? I use direct cd on Winxp and had problems with the Adapetc v4.72a2 - luckily the enlightened people at this forum have been advising persons like myself to change back to v4.60 and when i did - hey presto! - it works now with no problems.
If you need help to change the aspi drivers, then look throughout the forum as there are plenty of posts on how to do this.

Hope this helps you.

I have the aspi driver 4.60, this is the results of aspicheck:
