XVID1.0finall

Good news about this for me is now we can start playing with 1.1 branch builds.

Also just did a ICL7 compile if anyone is interested. Could do a ICL8 compile for any P4 users to. Build includes dshow decoder. No fancy installer though.

Well im using xvid more and more i guess..If you can make one xvid which can encode with virtual dub that would be nice..
P4 optimized would be even better... :)
In case you are not too busy..
Thanks anyway :)

Build posted on Ed Gomez's site should work fine with Vdub. As for P4, I have not tested much ICL8 vs. ICL7, but I hear that 7 is supposed to be quicker on Athlon's and 8 quicker for P4's. Most of the intensive stuff is assembly anyway.

I would suggest only encode a short clip and watch it before burning.

Below are current CVS builds not "v1.0".

Thanks a lot m8 :) :)

Should point out that my comment about only encoding a short clip was in regards to "v1.0 final". The builds I posted should work fine.

That is why I suggested people only encode a short clip. There were a few people who spent several hours encoding stuff who were none too pleased. Also why I said "v1.0 final" and not just v1.0 final.

Above builds are newer than RC3 and I don't think even the real 1.0final will have working brightness control for the dshow decoder.
