xvid to svcd film help one disk ?

i have a film thats about 1 hour 45 min its on a disk in xvid format id like to be able to watch it on a home dvd player hope fuly one one disk if that possible
it plays fine on the pc how s it done i have some software dvd2svcd / vcdeasy
Cinema Craft Encoder SP/TMPGEnc etc . i noticed the tutorials dont mention xvid so id like some help converting to svcd or vcd

Xvid is avi just need codecs which U obviously have cos U can watch it on your PC.

just convert avi(xvid)2(s)vcd with dvd2svcd....i did that dozen times with cm tutorial....cant go wrong...

That is assuming that it is an AVI. XviD is just a video codec, it can be used in several different formats; AVI, MKV, OGM, MP4, MOV, NSV.

i managed it dvd2svcd but what do i use to put them on disks nero vcdeasy etc
how is it done so they play properly do they need a boot file or something
im new to all this
