.xvid to dvd

Im new to this conversion procedures so any help is appreciated.
Just downloaded a .xvid film which can't convert to dvd with nero.
downloaded the beta version of the filmachine 1 5 05 but when i load the file
.xvid the filmachine just desapear vanish.
Appreciate any help

.xvid is generally an extension used for a raw xvid stream. I somehow doubt that is what you have though. Perhaps you can give some more info on the file?
