xvid sincronization changing framerate

I have a movie in xvid and I want to convert to a svcd.
THE AVI XVID IS 24 FPS in pal and when i convert in 25 fps the audio is out of sync. There is a way to sync audio converting xvid to svcd . when i live the original framerate the audio is ok but the svcd in scenes with movement don't play fluid
thx

BeSweet has an option to re-sync audio from one fps to another.

But if the movie is 24fps (is that actually 23.976 ?) then I would encode to an NTSC 23.976 and let pulldown automaticllly convert it to 29.97fps. Best solution is always not to convert the fps regardless of picture size.

The video is pal 24.and some fps. The problem is when I encode with tmgenc in svcd the audio is in sync but the video is in the movement scenes in italian is " a scatti" not fluid

Converting a 24 fps to a PAL 25 fps will always make it jerky, thats why I and most others will not recommend converting from one form to another. If you do convert, then expect the jerkyness.

if i convert at 25 fps the video 8is ok but the audio sync is lost .
my probem was if there is a way to syncronize audio with 25 fps
thanks again for reply

If you convert the 24fps to a NTSC Film type (23.976fps) the audio should be in sync and it wont be jerky.

If for what ever reason you MUST convert it to PAL (25fps) than as I said in my first post above, use BeSweet to "fix" the audio so its in sync and expect the pict to be jerky.
