Xvid fps problem

I hope some1 can help. Im triying to covert my xvid movie with tmpeg, when putting the file in Gspot it says 23.976fps, when viewing the files properties it says 23fps. When i put it in tmpeg it says 30fps....geez which 1 is right? any advice would be greatful. thanx

Gspot, has found its native fps at 23.976. But probably has Pulldown enabled, thats why TMPGEnc said 30 ( sure it wasnt 29.97 ?) Use the NTSC Film template in TMPGEnc and it will autorun pulldown to convert to true 29.97 NTSC.
