Using xp home on a p4........My question is?In a control panel(add-remove programs) i got a web flds program--i can remove it--but when i reboot--its back there>>For what is this proggy,do i need it????if not--how to remove it?????Also got there installed python2.2 combined win32 extensions,and python2.2.1.....???Do i need thoswe two proggys and what they are for?????Also after formatting hd,got xp installed--upgraded just fev things from update--microsoft.......Pc is running great now---stable as it can be What is the final verdict about sp1?To uipgrade or to stay like this????????

Hi there.

D`no about the programmes in control panel that you have installed, but I downloaded SP1 from Microsoft`s update site a couple of days ago and my PC ran very slow after the install, I had to remove it the day after, from my experience i would stay away from SP1 but i`m sure that others have had no problems with it, and I`m sure that there must be a patch out there somewhere for this slowing down PC`s issue.

Anyhow, if it aint broke dont fix it....
