xp windows customising hlp req also backup prob

im new to windows xp and id like to know how i can do this
when i open windows explorer id like it to topen local disk instead
of my documents first ideally id like to open windows explorer and see c: drive with documents and settings draw windows draw etc
how is it done please thnks for replies, i have a question id like to backup
my windows xp but also the sp1 disk on to one disk but there theirs not enough room on an 80min is there anything on either disk i could delete
so as to free up space i thought it would be easier to have it all on one disk if i had to reinstall is there any way of putting the key in so i dont have to do it manually everytime i reinstall ideally complete auto install
would be nice but i know theres limitations

if it is the same as in win2k, as i suppose, you can start the explorer.exe in the windows directory with several parameters like /e,path
so you could try "%windir%\explorer.exe /n, /e, C:\" as command
