XOSL won't install

Hi;

I'm having four primary partitions in one physical HDD. First primary is for XOSL, second is 98, third is Me, fourth is Lindows. Anyhow, when I tried to install XOSL to its own partition, I keep getting this message from XOSL's output "can't open IPLSLAB.bin". I downloaded the latest XOSL but keep getting the same message. Please help, because XOSL is the only one I have available. If you have System Commander 7, may I download it?

As i'm myself a XOSL (happy) user I would suggest you stick with it. May I ask, where from are you trying to install Xosl??

this is the way i do it: i'm copying all files of xosl to one of the logical partitions (eventually on the second HDD) and run the install from there. I wonder if you protected your floppy from writing ... coz xosl has to write in the directory from where it installs - this might be the cause why you get that error message. you can install also from floppy but leave it unprotected.

Thanks for that post. I got it to install. I put the xosl file in a bootable CD and copy it to the floppy, it works flawlessly.

One problem still persists, after installing xosl, I can't boot up my Lindows.
