hi have xecuter 2 chip in my xbox
is it possible to play backup dvd films and vcd
ive been told i need some kinda program to do it

You need The DVD Dongle free software installed matey,it's all part and parcel of the EvolutionX software.

If you have the DVD donlge w/remote you can play your DVD Backups and VCDs (although I haven't tried VCDs yet, but it should work). If you don't have one then you do as xoltana has stated. An excellent Xbox program is Xbox Media Player 2.01. Your'e able to pay VOB, MP3, Dvix, Mpeg and Avi's. A modchip is required to do any of these things.

You can post media player archives from 2.0 or later as they are xdk free programs
